This is probably my favorite meditation CD.

I have Jeffrey Thompson's Gamma Meditation, Theta Meditation, Awakened Mind System, Healing Mind System, etc. I have music ranging from Steven Halpern, to Deuter, to Deva Premal, to Snatam Kaur, ETC. My hobby is basically experiencing new meditation/relaxation CD's, and partaking in sound healing. I have to say this one is the most effective for me, and I'm not sure why there aren't more reviews on this product.

I adore this, its amazing.

I have to say, when I first tried it I wasn't thrilled. I fell asleep...which is good if you want to sleep but I wanted to be taken to higher conscious states and deep relaxation. I tried it again, and simply fell asleep again. And I wasn't thrilled about the music- its not that amazing. Blah...

I was bored one day and decided to give it another try when I was in my dorm and feeling a little depressed.

What I learned is that it takes some getting used to. You might fall asleep the first few times when using this, because your body and mind is not used to being so relaxed (or used to the unique combination of brain waves). However, I found that when I got used to the program and gave it a chance, I definitely reaped the benefits.

The feeling is just fantastic when you get deep into the program.

First of all, the binaural beats the Kelly uses make you feel as if your brain is being massaged. Its VERY soothing.

Second, if you notice on the package she talks about this "mind awake, body asleep" state that you slip into. "ok, whatever," I said at first. I thought it was just another piece of hype to sound fancy and get you to buy it.

WOW!!! She is not joking. She ain't playin' games.

When I relax and listen to this (once I got used to it), I feel as if my body has frozen, but my mind is still awake. I feel as if I'm "hiding"- like I have been lifted from the physical world but my mind is still present. My placid mind is hiding in a cocoon of a slumbering body. I feel like I am in a coma. Its just funny- everyone thinks I'm asleep (I sometimes listen to it in the commons room in my dorm), but I can really actually HEAR everyone around me, and I am still awake but INCREDIBLY relaxed. I can't feel my body. I am in such a lush, deep state.

The program simply takes over and I am released into a deep state of bliss.

When the program is done, and I do this every time (its fun)- I linger and noticed how completely asleep my body feels (not in the uncomfortable way though). I wiggle one body part at a time until I can completely move again. Any tension you feel is COMPLETELY dissolved. Tension is lifted SO completely, that you lose consciousness of your body which is great because you then focus on your mind (an essential step in meditation).

In only an hour, you feel as if you have had a full nights sleep and you are starting your day over again. Your mood is refreshed, as well as your body.

So...I highly recommend giving this program a try, ESPECIALLY if you are looking for a way to be lifted from physical tension, if you are looking for a daily escape from a stressful world (please...try this program), or looking to meditate deeply. Like I said, it might take some getting used to.

I must also bring up: I think products just work better for different people. This program RINGS totally true for me, and links up for me. Just give it a try and I think you will love it.

with the level I've been able to reach, this cd took me to a plane I never
thought possible. let me put it this way- buy the cd and get ready to feel
the brush of angel wings against your face.

I have been meditating since the age of 12 when I studied martial arts, and was introduced to Zazen.

This CD will take you to levels of meditation that many people never know exist and give up meditation as a waste of time.

With this CD your mind does not need to do any of the work involved to get to these levels. This magic happens through binaural technology. I used the word magic because thos works like magic.

Listen to this CD via stereo headphones, and the disc plays different frequencies into each ear, and your brain generates a third (phantom) tone by getting the hemipheres to work together.

I have been using "Deep Meditation", and "Deep insight" by Brain Sync for 10 years, I have worn out two copies on cassette tape, and now I am buying it again on CD.

Allow either "Deep Meditation" or "Deep Insight" to train your mind to reach levels only experienced by Zen Masters, or Yogi's

MY ONLY regret is that Brain Sync does not distribute this in WMA or MP3 formats so you can play it on an Ipod or Mp3 player

I wish I could give this CD 10 stars!

This CD is awesome! I have several of Brain Sync's CD's and this is the one I seem to go to the most. It takes you through the stages of brain waves, down into Delta, so it transitions you easily and effectively. I thought that it would waste time in doing that and not allowing me to stay in the deepest level for very long, but quite the contrary. It relaxes you immediately and encourages you to forget about what's going on in your day. I love it. Definitely a favorite for meditation.

I use this CD daily for at least an hour a day. It is a great tool to bring awareness back into the inner stillness so the stillness can keep weakening the ego. The ego can not eliminate itself but it can ask for that elimination every day and then commune with the inner stillness. In time we become that stillness more and more.

I really like all of Kelly howell's CDS'. I enjoy the sound of her voice and the music, it's very soothing. On this CD is just the music though so if your looking for her speaking you'll have to look at another one of her products. It worked great in relaxing me, but I feel asleep so I don't remember getting into a deep meditative state, I will however try again and then add it onto my review.

This CD is all music -- not a guided meditation. (I feel like) "technically" it should be a CD by David Schwimmer (who did the music), not a CD by Kelly Howell. I primarily use it when I do Reiki sessions with clients.

I wasn't convinced enough to do it on a regular basis. But I will try again.
