This game is little more than a fancy paint program. There are two basic modes of game play. Adventure - where you are told how many of each unit to build and .....well, that's it really. No competition, no strategy, no thought whatsoever. There must be 20-30 levels one after another of exactly the same thing. The other option is just a sandbox/free-for-all mode, where you just build units and sea creatures for the simple pleasure of watching them float across your screen! My 10 year old is a big fan of tycoon type games but he was bored after about 10 mins and I can see why - this really isn't that type of game. So please no matter how much your child begs, do not waste your money on this game.

This game lacks the depth of fun of other tycoon games. There are very few buildings, the stages are repetetive, and there is almost nothing to do. I played it for about an hour and was ready to put it away for good...just too dull.

My eight year old found it a little boring. He says he will stay with Zoo Tycoon.
