Deep Sleep subliminal CD
I am so addicted to this that I have to listen to this every evening even if I have a good day!
My work and personal life are extremely stressful and not being able to relax and sleep was adding unbearable stress. If I did manage to get to sleep I'd wake up a few hours later and pretty much be awake the rest of the night. I thought I would lose my mind before I found a healthy solution that didn't include using pills. I didn't want to get into a nasty cycle of a pill to go to sleep then a pill to wake up, etc...
Sometimes the cd takes just a few minutes and sometimes a little longer but I know it will work so I don't stress. If I wake up in the middle of the night I have no problem getting back to sleep but if I feel like it might be a problem I plug in and go back to sleep with it. Best of all I finally feel like I am getting a healthy dose of sleep and have a general sense of peace that wasn't there before. I have other Kelly Howell cds and love them all.
By the way, I don't have an MP3 player so I use a CD player with ear buds.

I have a diagnosed sleep disorder making it hard for me to get to sleep. With Kelly Howell's CD I am able to not only fall asleep quickly but stay asleep and wake refreshed. It is a perfect sleep tool. Somewhere in my travels I lost my copy and this is the second CD for me because I rely on it from time to time. I have also recently ordered several other Kelly Howell CDs and am equally happy with them as well. I hate to sound like a paid commercial. But when something is good, you just want to share it with everyone. Jerri

This has worked wonderfully for me, even if I only listen for a few minutes (I can't fall asleep with earphones in) I find I have no problems getting to sleep quickly. Very highly recommended.

I have struggled with insomnia for about 5 years. I have used over-the-counter medications and prescription medications to get to sleep, but ultimately don't like taking pills. In my effort to get a better night's sleep I started working out daily and while it helps it still isn't enough. I recently had my second child and find I only get about 6 hours of interrupted sleep a night. A friend recommended I try this CD. I was hopeful that it would work but was definitely skeptical. The first night I used it I fell into such a deep sleep that when the baby awoke for a midnight feeding I went to stand up and actually fell over! In the morning I felt slightly groggy but had so much more energy. The second night things went a little more smoothly (no more falling over!) and again awoke refreshed. I find I have to be open to the CD and relax as I'm listening. In other words, you can't multitask and expect to have it work. I would recommend this CD to anyone struggling with insomnia. For the price it's definitely worth a try.

This doesn't always work for me, but most of the time it does. Since I was a kid I suffered with the inability to fall asleep, as an adult I suffer with the inability to stay asleep. Compulisve worrier or something like that. Anyhow, I purchased this cd because soemtimes I need to stop thinking and listen to something else in my head. This cd is a new age sort of naturey slowly hypnotic beat. I find that it really helps me empty out my head and be at peace. It isn't totally foolproof, you do need to make other good sleeping habits, but most of the time this helps me drift into a very deep sleep.

I don't know if the CD works or if it is the placebo effect, but I sleep so well when I fall asleep listening to the CD. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I was really hopeful that listening to this CD (through my MP3 player) would help me fall asleep, stay asleep, and have deep, restful sleep. I actually feel a bit more "keyed up" after listening to it. I've tried it on about four different occasions and am hesitant to give any more energy to it. I've gone back to an old CD of just plain ocean sounds--no music overlays. It works better for me.

You have to know that this is an ONLY SOUND CD, no voice, no words. That wasn't clear on the description when I bought it.
Sometimes it helps me sleep, sometimes it's a little too much and it keeps me from falling asleep! I prefer the "Universal Mind Meditation" where you hear Kelly Howell sweet voice on positive thoughts.

Unfortunately, I bought this MP3 directly from Brain Sync last night, so I've just thrown $10 down the drain. I listened to the short clip they provide on their site, which was pleasant to start with. However, played in entirety, the tempo and tone of the piece remained the same and what started out as pleasant became highly irritating and quite tension inducing over the length of the piece, instead of decreasing in tempo to help calm the mind, relax the body and slow breathing.

Last night, as usual, I took my Lunesta twenty minutes before bedtime and went to bed drowsy and ready for sleep. I wound up turning this music off after not quite an hour; I was wide awake, despite the Lunesta, which usually puts me out IF I CAN RELAX MY BODY, which was impossible with this music. Judging from other reviews, this works for some people, but it did the exact opposite of what it was intended to do for me. I just wish I hadn't had to waste $10 and spend a restless, nearly sleepless night to find this out (I was finally able to get to sleep some 3 hours later by listening to Kitaro and Karunesh and doing controlled breathing and relaxation exercises). The best way I can describe the experience of listening to this with headphones is that it was the aural equivalent of someone dripping water, one drop at a time, onto my forehead between my eyebrows. Yeah, 'Chinese Water Torture' in audible form. Who knows, some folks may find that sort of experience relaxing; I do not. YMMV.

I really like this cd. It puts me right into lala land. I can't even tell you much about it because it works so well on me. My sleep patterns are back on track because of this and other cds like it. I don't wake up all night long like I used to, and I wake up after only six hours feeling great.
