S&A write gold again!,
By Lucien Calanor "Lucien Calanor" (Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Deep Water (Paperback)
This is book two in the dragon Elemental series by the sister team of Stella and Audra Price. Where the first book, "Fire in His Eyes" was more than hot, so is this book deep and entrancing, just like a sunset over water. Kael is possibly my favorite dragon and Brynn is the perfect woman for him, even if he doesn't want to admit it at first. As always, S&A deliver a fantastic book filled with sensual desires and emotional engagement. This is a must read!

Love is Grand! Fantastic Read! Hot!,
By QueentuttsWorld (Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Deep Water (Paperback)
Love is Grand! Fantastic Read! Hot!A smile on your face is what you end up with after reading this book. I love it when a big tuff guy (dragon) meets his match (Ice Demon) and ends up with an attitude adjustment and that's exactly what happens in this wonderful story. Kael, a Water Elemental Dragon has hatred against all demons no matter what type of species they are because of his past dealings in history but when he sees and meets Bryn, an ice demon diving off cliffs in a climate where you wouldn't find her kind of demon he becomes intrigued and drawn to her like the Ocean calls him. Bryn is not like most demons of her kind; she is a bargained demon but got the wrong end of the deal with her bargaining of her soul that has left her bitter and with an attitude of not trusting any male species. However, Kael shows her a different side of male trust worthiness as he gets to know her and finds that she is drawn to the sea as he is. Their friendship leads to love, passion, and comfort with a happy ever after. I absolutely loved the interaction between the characters. They made me smile and laugh with their comments towards each other. The erotic scenes were so sexy and hot and make me want to have a dragon of my own.

Deep Water- A Joyfully Recommended Title,
This review is from: Deep Water (Paperback)
Bryn Case is a dive instructor and a cliff diver in St. Thomas. Which might seem a bit odd when you figure she is a bargained demon and a Glacies one at that, but there is no way Bryn can live without being around the water. Bryn trusted the wrong man and after learning that harsh lesson, and losing her soul, she has just been living day to day. Getting caught up in any type of a relationship is not something she is looking to do.Sailing all over the place and needing to stock up on supplies, Kael decided to set anchor at St. Thomas for a couple of reasons. Of course Kael picked a beach that is private and for resort guests only, but whatever. On his first night there, he happens to see one of the cliff divers, Bryn, and he feels her call to him and his element. Not really what he needs as he also knows that Bryn is a lesser demon - a species he hates because of the past. A late night cliff dive and a steamy goodnight kiss start both Kael and Bryn on a journey of discovery - of each other. Kael quickly realizes that Bryn is his mate and while they both have huge reasons to not want to bond with the other, the passion and emotions are just too much to ignore. Kael and Bryn are ecstatic about how things seem to be working out, but the test is soon to come - how will his family take to Bryn? Kael also has another reason to head for home - Bryn's soul. I have been waiting for book 2 of the Elemental Dragons since I closed the last page of the first book. Deep Water turned out to be even more than I was hoping for. I was actually not sure if I would like Kael's story because he was so snotty and even a bit of a snob in the first book, Fire in his Eyes, however he turned out to be a male who needed that matching part of his being. Bryn was badly hurt and used by the last person she trusted in a close relationship, but something about Kael and his affinity with the water had her throwing caution to the wind and giving Kael a chance. The equal parts of playfulness and passion between Kael and Bryn was gripping to the point that I read Deep Water in one sitting just to discover what was going on. While I won't tell what happened, I have to say that I absolutely loved how Kael retrieved the one thing that would make his and Bryn's love the absolute it could be. Once again the Price sister's have taken a branch of their unique universe and given us a wonderful look at two of the special people in it. Deep Water is an instant favorite to be re-read time and again; a definite recommended read. While Deep Water can stand alone, take my word for it and read this series in order. You'll be Swept Away,
This review is from: Deep Water (Paperback)
"You'll be Swept Away"Bryn Case's faith in love is shattered when a Conglacion Demon tricks her into bargaining her soul away. Bryn knows she can't change what happened, but she can learn by her mistakes. She vows never to let a man close to her heart again. She moves to the Virgin Islands and because of her love of the sea, she becomes a diver at one of the resorts. When Kael shows up, she's ready to tell him to get lost, but one kiss and she find herself drowning in his embrace. Kael is a Water element dragon. He loathes demons, but his curious nature gets the better of him. He must know why the sea calls to Bryn, why it loves her. What he didn't bargain on was losing his heart to her. I loved the quick-witted banter between the characters while their chemistry sweetly unfolds into a whirlwind of passion. The sensual water scene between Bryn and Kael, when he is in his dragon form is pure poetry. Stella and Audra Price have written a story of healing, trust and passion. As the sea calls to Bryn and Kael, this tale of true love will sweep you away. Pnr Paranormal Romance [...] Reviewed by: Karen Michelle Nutt, author |
