Murray's book is an excellent supplement to the Bible for helping a person experience a deeper walk with Christ.Among the important points Murray mentions include: 1. Intimate fellowship with God starts with total surrender. Read and be encouraged to walk deeper with Christ!

Summary: For those who have tried to live a 'Christian' life in their own power. This book pulls back the veil and allows one to see that it is impossible to lead the christian life w/o the guidance and comfort of the Holy Spirit. Along with other titles such as 'Christians Guide to a Happy Life by Hannah Smith', 'They Found the Secret', and 'The Wonderful Spirit Filled Life by Dr. Charles F. Stanley' it has become clear to me that God wants us to succeed at this life. But, it is thru the guidance of the Holy Spirit that one begins to enjoy the Christian life.

God wants us to have a deeper walk with Him through His Son Jesus.
He wants us to have the Joy of the Lord. If you don't have Joy you are living in unbelief. God wants to bring us into His rest. We can triump over all circumstances if we have Jesus.
