There was nothing that really stood out in this book. Also, there were some ingredients that I have no idea where to buy- I havent seen them in the local Wal-Mart... it'd be nice if he told us where to buy some of these things or what part of a store normally carries them.

My husband decided to turn his deer into hamburger this year. He was wanting recipes and this book did not disappoint. Small paperbook, easy to read and good recipes.

The Deerburger I found to be an exellent cookbook. I used the receipes venison, beef and I have even try some with chicken and turkey.

THIS BOOK WAS GIVEN AS A GIFT TO A DEER HUNTER.HE ROUNDED UP THE GANG AND THEY STARTED TRYING RECIPES FOR THE JERKIES AND SAUSAGES FROM THE DEER BURGER COOKBOOK. WELL,WHEN YOU HEAR SIGHS, AND BURPS,YOU KNOW IT IS ANOTHER CONTENTED HUNTER MAKING A RECIPE FROM THE BURGER COOKBOOK.

My dad is a huge deer hunter, and he is always in the kitchen coming up with new concoctions from his hunting trips. He is always cooking deer burgers and trying to get me to eat them - maybe with some of these new recipes, I will be more willing! I'm sure he will enjoy sharing recipes with his hunting buddies for many years to come!

I was hoping for something maybe a little more gourmet. I realize you can only do so much with hamburger. Hamburger Helper is probably still the way to go.
