Deer Hunter 3: The Legend Continues is dedicated to providing the most realistic hunting experience possible while sitting at your PC. From spurting blood to realistic 3-D environments and a room back at the lodge where you can view your trophies, this game has it all.

Play begins when you select your hunting persona--there are several guys and one woman to choose from--and dress them in weather-appropriate camouflage. Next, you select your equipment: lures, calls, scents, blinds, and, of course, weapons. Gun in hand, it's out to the target range, to quickly sight in your gun. And don't forget a hunting license either--unless you want the word "POACHED" emblazoned across your trophy!

At last, fully equipped, it's time to go hunting, either for a day or an entire season. Deer Hunter 3 is an ideal pastime for urban hunters who have limited chances to get out into the woods. It is also, for the hunting novice, a well-rounded introduction to the hardware and etiquette of hunting game. For experienced hunters, this game may seem more like comedy than serious simulation, even though it takes itself very seriously--to the point of heckling when you miss a shot.

DH3 is the BEST! You can do special hacks, the bucks are really smart, and the graphics are GREAT! I still have yet to get a 22pt., but the game rocks just the same!

I love the fact you can be the deer and be hunted by your friends online. This is a great game and I never get tired of it.

I'll give you a hint go to Mercer, WI if you grunt and wait 2 minutes 10 deer come in.

While the graphics, options, and sound in this game are all good, it mimics the real hunt to closely. Hours of sitting still and quiet out in nature looking for a real deer is a heck of a lot different than hours of sitting still and quiet in your cozy computer chair staring at the screen in search of a deer. It's boring.
