This book is pretty good. It had alot of information. I like the pictures the best. Over all it's a pretty good book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Whitetail FAQ
I found the photographs more interesting than the text. This book is a compilation of questions received by Rue, consequently what information the book has is presented in a disjointed manner. None of the answers are in depth. The title is a misnomer.

I gave the book 3 stars because, although it may be 5 star for the beginning deer hunter, it does not have much to offer one with a few year's experience. In truth, however, it did answer a few questions for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars misleading, February 24, 2009
This review is from: The Deer Hunter's Encyclopedia: One of America's Foremost Deer Authorities Answers More Than 200 of the Most Frequently Asked Questions About Whitetails and Whitetail Hunting (Paperback)
Lots of useless, redundant, common sense information. This is a compilation of letters the author has recieved and responded to. Its more of a "what is the difference between antlers and horns?" May be a good read for kids getting into hunting. If you have spent time in the woods chasing whitetails, (not from a vehicle) you know all this book has to offer.
