This is hands down the best product to repel deer. It's all natural, not harmful to the deer or humans. It works by being absorbed into the foliage, making it taste bad to animals. Be diligent in the spring--the deer will eat all your new buds that came out after you sprayed. Other than that, it just keeps working. Buy the concentrate--saves a lot of money and easy to use. Great product!

This is a really great product that really does work. I have a lot of deer and a lot of plants and flowers that they love to eat. I use this product and they leave them alone. I use the concentrate and mix it myself. It's easy to do and saves money. Most deer repellents need to be applied often, like every 30 days. This product only has to be applied about every 3 months. You need to apply more often when you have a period of heavy rain or when your plants are getting new growths. This product does not smell bad, it has a minty smell. I highly recommend this product.

Unlike others I've tried, this deer repellent seems to work. It was recommended to me by a friend who raises Japanese Maples. I spray it liberally around my yard about every month.. the trick, we think, is to spray twice about 3 weeks apart to begin, to shift the deer's habits away from your yard. At this rate, I'll spend $50 per year on repellent to protect thousands in flowers and shrubs that are otherwise ruined each year.

Great product. Excellent service. Just empty it into a 2 gallon spray container and fill up with water. Easy.
Mint smell is better than other repellants.

This really works to keep the deer from eating my flowers and shrubs. I apply it after every rain, just to be safe. They won't even touch the hostas or daylilies! When I got lazy one winter and stopped applying it, they came back and ate all my azaleas. But last winter I was a little more vigilant, and my azaleas were beautiful this spring.

I used this product repeatedly this spring, reapplying after rain even though label says that is not necessary. Deer demolished my roses as they normally do. My homeade mixture of rotten eggs and tabasco works much better. Company claims they guarantee the product, but in the fine print you see that it covers only 30 days from purchase. I am at about 45 days so I am out $100.

Last fall, I planted 5 young apple trees in our yard... put wire fence and netting around each one because our property borders a national forest, and our yard more often than not looks like a nature preserve with small - oh so cute - herd of deer lounging around eating the clover. Well, this spring they also ate the buds and new growth on every apple tree!!! - right thru the wire fence, too boot! I was considering buying higher, more elaborate - and more expensive - fencing when I searched Amazon for a possible solution and found Deer Out. Noticing the reviews, I bought the 32oz Concentrate, a cheap sprayer and gave it a skeptical try. IT WORKS!!! Lush new buds and growth have survived the last 60 days without one nibble. Saved me hundred$ in fencing. Very impressed (however, the season is only beginning, so I'll update this review if need be.) Strong smell, but not repulsive at all. I do re-spray after heavy rains, but this concentrate will last for a couple years at this rate. Highly recommend -- try the smaller 32oz concentrate first, so you'll not lose too much cash in case you have different results.

I live in the woods of Northern Michigan--Deer Country, yet I insist on having a garden of flowers. Go figure. I've tried every trick imaginable to foil deer, but these munching machines are obstinate. Lately, I've discovered Deer Out with its lovely, minty fragrance and a nice change from the nasty stench of some deterents I've used.

Every April the deer usually beat me to the tulips and scarf them down, but this year I located the small leaves poking up and sprayed them with Deer Out. One week later, I sprayed them again. Now, three weeks later, the tulip leaves are still standing tall. I think the peppermint odor confuses them into thinking the tulips are gone, but who knows what goes on in their minds. I can't wait to try Deer Out on my daylilies and phlox. And maybe I'll even be brave enough to try a vegetable garden. The ingredients in this repellent are organic and environmentally friendly. Hooray!
