Filming Your Hunt Is easy,

I recently purchased the deer ridge gun and bow camera mount prior to the 08 turkey season. I can say after a little practice the product worked as it said it would. I used a sony miniDV camera and the video came out great. I was shooting a 3 1/2 magnum turkey load and their was a little distortation at the time of the shot. I think it would be better if I used shooting sticks. Prior to the hunt I zeroed the camera to 30 yards and the bird came in at 10 and the picture still looked great. I cannot wait to try it out on my bow next deer season. The only down side is that it adds a little weight out so you have to make sure you compansate.

Works great! i use a very small camcorder, the flip ultra hd. it is about the size of a cell phone and i don't even notice that it's there. it is very stable and i don't even have to worry about my camcorder falling off.
