The sole is quite durable and the shoe stays on the foot while not being uncomfortably tight. I was quite pleased though there are a couple flaws that might be troublesome. First, while the heel is raised for cushioning the step, this minimizes the arch support. (This makes the shoes uncomfortable for me when walking long distances.) Second, if something pushes on the toe (like someone steps on it) there's a stiff lining above the toe that folds inward away from the leather, poking into my toes. It can be pushed back into place easily, but I have to take the shoe off to do so.

I personally wear these shoes while going in and out of the house a lot, and enjoy them for lounging or when chasing kids over rocks.

My husband LOVES these shoes! He has had several pairs and wears them until they die. Comfortable and durable shoes, plus they look nice!

These shoes are very nice. Good leather and craftsmanship as well as a good price. One of the few Slip-ons in this style that came in a wide width.
