Not what I expected, March 9, 2011
This review is from: John Deere Shop Manual/Series 2150, 2155, 2255, 2350, 2355, 2355N, 2550, 2555/Cat No Jd-58 (I & T Shop Service) (Paperback)
I purchased this manual primarily for the maintenance information. While there is a small amount included, this is largely an overview of various major components and the general steps to remove and replace them. If you are not a diesel mechanic, or at least very familiar with these tractors, you will be lost. If you need to maintain your tractor, change fluids, filters, adjust brakes, clutches, etc., get the Operators Manual first. If you plan to overhaul one, you will need more detail than this shop manual provides.

Wasted money, January 6, 2012
This review is from: John Deere Shop Manual/Series 2150, 2155, 2255, 2350, 2355, 2355N, 2550, 2555/Cat No Jd-58 (I & T Shop Service) (Paperback)
Manuals usually give instructions on how to handle the maintenace repair of parts. This illustrated what the part looked like. If this had been a manual on fixing a flat it would have had a picture of a flat tire. It gave no idea on the common problems encounterd or how to break any thing down or even more than one view of an approach to many of the parts.
