The Deering Golden Era banjo is a unique model that reproduces the sought after five string banjos from the 1930's. This beautiful banjo has the geniune '06, 20 hole tone ring, special maple rim and traditional resonator flange. Metal parts are nickel plated. The curly maple neck and resonator are stained in the stunning Cremona Sunburst Stain. The neck shape is a little narrower at the nut and has the fullness of shape desired by fans of historical banjos. I love this banjo! Now, I have to work hard to live up to it's capabilities. It has great sound, just what I was looking for; and, the sustain is almost forever. If you want a banjo that has old-time reverberations, this one is great!
