As a student of economics at the University of Hamburg, he had to come to grips with the question, "How could this happen?" and reflects upon his own moral responsibilities for the atrocities of a godless government. He discovered that the Nazi system was built on lies and contempt of human life and that his link, as well as that of millions of Germans to the Nazis, was the lie. "I lied for personal gains and they lied for political power. But a lie is a lie," he stated. "The bystander is as responsible as the criminal."
"All materialistic totalitarian ideologies, the Nazis, the Communists, and the radical Islamists are based on lies and hatred," von Campe maintains. "They have a common source." His comparisons of the National Socialist ideology and society with the other ideologies and modern society are unique.Read more ›
Hilmar Von Campe wrote "How Was It Possible?" in 2006. In his book, he wanted to explain why Germany allowed a madman like Adolph Hitler to rise to power and to persecute the Jews.

Hitler had a obsession for cruel treatment of his fellow citizens to drive out what he termed as `weakness.'
He once stated," Weakness must be hammered away. In my castles of Teutonic Order, a youth will grow up and the world will tremble. I want a brutal domineering, fearless, cruel youth. Youth must be all that. It must bear pain. There must be nothing weak and gentle about it. The free, splendid beast of prey must once again flash from its eyes...Read more ›
Do you think it a coincidence that Obama has proposed the same type of "mandatory youth groups"?
Do you think it is a coincidence that Freedom OF Religion has become Freedom FROM Religion thanks to the ACLU and the socialists/left?
Do you think it a coincidence that there is nothing that Obama and the Demoratic Party will not insert themselves into?
Read this book and see where they are headed.
