I bought this cd because I am a huge Louie Vega/MAW fan. I enjoyed the first 2 cd's, but it is the 3rd unmixed records that made this cd worth every penny I spent on it. Sergio Mendes the Real Thing is so classic followed by Minnie Ripperton's Inside My Love, Chic's Sao Paulo, Ronnie Foster Mystic Brew...This has to be the best tracks put together on a cd...I love it...truly inspiring music....WOW!! If you don't buy it for anything else, buy it for the 3rd unmixed cd. Would like to see more collaborations like this from Louie.

People who enjoyed the Masters at Work production Nuyorican Soul may well enjoy this 3CD set. Although different and not as timeless as the Nuyorican Soul effort, this set has some incredibly wonderful and sophisticated tracks.

Plus it will inspire you to dance around wherever you're listening...

This is a 3 C.D. set...The first one is spiritual(track 3Love Ritual),passionate,and full of fire.It makes whatever you are doing while listening to it,all the more intense.I went crazy for the Hector Lavoe remixx.You hear Hectors Voice in between the beats in Mi Gente..the way it was put together..Brilliant!The second C.D. Is more a chillin feel good C.D. And the third one,well this one has more R&B..I call it the lovin C.D. Under the covers with the one you love..well,you know! The C.D.is a blend of House,Salsa,a bit of Brazil,jazz,soul..a little bit of everything.You feel the mood of every track,Love this C.D. Enjoy!

I just got this cd as a present for my b-day from my best friend, he knows I love house music, I took it with me and went to Hermosa beach in Costa Rica. The sun was coming down, me and my friends in this beautiful village in the mountain with an amazing view of the Costa Rican coast just in front of us, the sunset light hitting our faces and this cd playing in the background... We all started to dance, drink and party, It was great, it transports you directly to Ibiza though there's no need since we were in Costa Rica and it's beautiful as well, we danced the whole cd, both of them, they are just amazing, if you love vocal house this cd is a must, and even if you don't you just got to have it.

i took a chance on this because someone with this heritage has to have a good ear. but redundancy in dance music is i guess par for the course. he does add to this work copies of records from other artists (vol 3) which are great works (good ear), but better to go get those works directly than invest in this.
