This is a witty and well written book about the state of the Spanish language and how it can be defended against, among other things, the invasion of English and general neglect and misuse. It is relevant also for people interested in other European languages that face similar challenges. Reading the book made me curious about Grijelmo's other work and I have ordered one of his other books (on grammar).
