This is the standard P226 RHS paddle holster that fits the "standard" more rounded rail on the P226. .

I have enjoyed this holster since the day I purchased it. I think the price and shipping was well worth it. I use this holster for carrying on the shooting range and for hunting. Not for everyday use or concealment. Good luck trying to properly conceal a 226 anyways. I have no worries about the gun falling out during hunting. It clicks into the holster letting you know that it is secure. I love the push button release on the side for easy drawing. I do think it's a little bit on the bulky side but like I have said before this is for a larger frame gun. the holster feels very comfortable on the side of my hip and it looks and feels of high quality. I would recommend this to anyone else that has the same use for it.

When I received the Paddle Holster I was thinking it may not fit
the Sig p226. I placed the gun in the Paddle holster and after
a few adjustments to the screw adjust it fits perfectly and locks
the gun into place.

At the same time after a little practice when you grab the gun and
press the side of the lock the gun comes out smooth and just as
fast as if there were no lock on the holster. The gun locks tight
so there is accident of it falling out even upside down.

I like the two clips if you don't have a belt. Just slide the plastic
flap down the side of the pants and it locks into place with out a
belt. Excellent.

My standard SIG P226 with a Picatinny rail did not fit into this holster which is specifically FOR a P226 WITH a rail. The seller (OpticSale) was very responsive, but I ended up shipping it directly back to Sig Sauer for replacement. This is not the first purchase review on this product that had this problem.

I have a Sig 226 with a rail, so I bought this holster. Well guess what...it doesn't fit. The rail gets caught on a plastic part of the inside of the holster right away. It didn't even make it to the trigger guard. I mailed it back (and had to pay shipping for the return). Save your money and get one somewhere else.

This is the standard P226 RHS paddle holster that fits the "standard" more rounded rail on the P226. . it will not accommodate the Picatinny rail as found on the MK model 226.
The Holster as received fits the P226 perfectly. Discussions about the holster being unsafe due to trigger finger placement as the firearm is drawn...are simply not true. The trigger finger will rest on the gun's frame as it's drawn upward from the holster.
The holsters retention mechanism is simple yet secure. A audible 'click' as the firearm is inserted and a smooth easy release to un-holster the firearm as it's drawn.
Good value, comfortable to wear.

This holster doesn't fit with my P226 MK25 with the accessory rail. THe gun will not slide in completely, and left the entire trigger guard outside the holster without clicking in.

this holster does not accept the MK25 version of the Sig P226. the bottom rail inthe holster is cut too flat and the P226 goes in apx 3/4 of the way .

This holster does not fit my Sig P226 special configuration. I thought that all Sig rails were the same. Well, I was wrong. This specific holster is made to fit the Sig standard contour rail. If your pistol has the 1913 picatinny rail, your gun will NOT FIT this holster. You can tell the difference of the rails...if the bottom of the rail is curved then this is the standard Sig configuration. If the rail is flat and has angles cut on the outside edges then they are picatinny. The overall quality of this holster is very good. However it seems rather bulky and in my opinion the retention button is not needed for civilian use. I also have an Uncle Mikes open top paddle that I use for my Sig SP2022 and I like it much better. I think I'll get the Uncle Mike's. Also, I believe holsters designated for the MK25 or P226 Combat will fit since these have picatinny rails.
