This MK-9, 13 ounce 1.3% "Red Band" Formula pistol grip stream pepper spray is nitrogen propelled and has a range of 18 - 20 feet and 14 one second bursts. 1.3% will be replacing the current 5.5% Pepper Mace formulation. 1.3% Major Capsaicinoid represents a nonflammable EDW safe formulation which is significantly more intense than previous formulations. High quality is ensured through an ISO rated manufacturing facility. Independent laboratories confirm these products are consistently made to exacting standards. Each unit has a steel "pull-ring" type safety pin engaging the actuator button at the top of the carry handle. The actuator button itself has a breakfree locking tab preventing accidental discharge until the first deployment. The absence of this break-free tab also indicates that the unit has been actuated at least once. This formulation has been tested and is non-flammable and Electronic Discharge Weapon (EDW) safe. Total dimensions 9.15 in H x 2.60 in Dia.
With our complete line of aerosols, we are able to offer an OC level of intensity ranging from .2% Major Capsaicinoids to 1.3% MC. The variations in the MC% means that you can now select the level of intensity of OC for the environment required. We use independent laboratory testing to ensure consistent quality of each product.
