Not quite "Definitive", but definitely worth it!,

An excellent collection from the Small Faces mind blowing catalog, but it concentrates mostly on the latter part of their recording career, leaving out some of their more sizzling instrumentals and mod rave ups. From the selections here, you can definitely trace the evolution of the later arena rock sounds of Led Zepplin and Steve Marriot's Humble Pie recordings. Included on disk 2 is an entire side of Ogden's Gone Nut Flake, complete with the cockney fairy tale interludes between songs...one of the first successful concept albulms to be sure! A must for those just discovering the Small Faces and for anyone interested in the evolution of the British Invasion sound into the late sixties.

The Small Faces Definitive Collection,

I ordered this CD after wearing the other one out. OK, actually one of the discs cracked, but there was no way I would be without this outstanding collection from one of the greatest British Invasion bands. There was SO much more to the Small Faces than Itchycoo Park, and this collection does a super job of bringing Marriott and company's catchy, rocking tunes to the collector. If you're fleshing out your Invasion library, find this CD.

Great Collection of Small Faces Material,

I bought this cd in search of the Small Faces sound (as I was just beginging to like them)Disc 1 had alot of awesome tracks and displayed that they were arguably one fo the best Mod groups out there. Disc 2 is not all that great it focus more on their later work, which really has no relation to what they did in the beginning....They were much better in their 1965-1968 time, But thats just my opinion. This is a good collection for any Small Faces fan from the All or Nothing time to the Ognen's days, it's all here.
