Just want to say, this collection, contains definately the best of Garnet. Shows why he is the orginal and the best in conscious reggae. A great christmas gift for anyone into reggae."Mama Africa" de best tune...of course...!!

This 2 disk cd is sweet. More roots sounds than I expected, but a few dancehall beats thrown in, too. Favorite tracks are Fill Us Up With Your Mercy, Sayanora, Thank You, Jah, etc. but almost all tracks sound nice and have a message. I defintely recommend this cd.

If there were more than 5 stars to put on the review, I would. Garnet Silk shines brighter than any artist in reggae history. His voice and his beautiful lyrics put him far above Bob Marley, (no disrespect). This 2 CD set has everything you'll need to hear to believe. This man was definitely one of the world's best artists and his early death caught him in his prime.

The voice of the Archangel, the words of a prophet, the heart of a saint.....Garnett Silk......there is a definite reason why his admirers in Rastafari and without are fiercely loyal to his spirit to this day.....buy this record and experience it. Honestly, this is the best collection of his work on any album, and truly, each song is like a psalm of David.
