Mr. Crouch was a force in gospel music that broke the rules and change the direction of gospel. This collection shows how current his sound is today. When you listen to today's gospel artist, you know who they were listening to! There are some cuts like "Jesus is Lord" missing from this collection which is due to not to take away from the sales of the "I'll be Thinking of You" CD. When I first started playing gospel music, my mentor, Mr. Robert Montcrief, cut my teeth on Mr. Crouch's music, and seem like wherever I would have the blessing to play, every choir and choir director would place his music in the service sometime during the year. In fact, to know Mr. Crouch's music was a way of passage in getting a job at most churchs. This is a good, clean and clear collection. Every cut is worth the price.
