banging Jams,

the Average WHite Band always had some tight jams back in the day. they Brought the Funk&also had some Smooth Slow Jams that equaled a tight Blend of Musical Balance.pickup the pieces is still funky just as a love of your own is smooth. dig the smoking Drums, the tight Horns&the Pocket Grooves that still sound fresh.

I saw the AWB multiple times in Scotland in the mid to late 70's, and really enjoyed them. After breakups, line-up changes and 30 years they still sound great live, but this is a great introduction for anyone who missed them the first time around!
