Wonderful,

My father is a musician. He recalled seeing Hoosier Hotshots in films. He once shared with me that he would like to hear their music again. I gave this music compilation to him as a gift. It made him happy to hear these songs again! It meant a lot to us that he could hear them again! Thanks!

THERE ARE FEW THAT REMEMBER FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE WITH THE HOTSHOTS.
IF YOU WATCHED A GENE AUTRY MOVIE YOU SAW THE HOTSHOTS. THIS WAS THE ONLY REALLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE AUTRY MOVIES. I WORKED FOR THE THEATER THAT HAD THE FRANCHISE AND COULD TAKE MY GIRL FRIEND TO THE MOVIES THERE ANY TIME AND SO WE SAW THEM ALL. FROM 1930 TO MID 1950S THESE GUYS WERE GREAT ENTERTAINMENT. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. A FEW WEEKS AGO I WAS WATCHING A COMMERCIAL THAT FEATURED PART OF OLD WESTERNS AND REMEMBERED THE SONS OF THE PIONEERS SLIM PICKINS SMILEY BURNETT AND THE HOTSHOTS. THESE FOLKS WERE B MOVIE CHARACTERS BUT STILL THE BEST OF THE BEST. BACK THEN WE ALL LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING THEM. |
