If you do any customization to a Stellent Content Server or want a detailed over-view of what can be done to a Content Server, then this book is for you. Both developers and managers could benefit from this book. It's easy to explain what needs to be done or what you are asking for, once you know what can be done within the Content Server.

Finding information is easy in the book and Bex's example are clear cut and to the point.

Well written, easy to understand and use, congratulations on a truly useful tool. I have worked with Stellent for many years, and have this book next to my keyboard at all times! Bex has always provided clear answers for the user group, but this provides a clear direction no matter what you need to do with your Stellent system.

Kudos!

If you are looking for a complete book about Stellent development, administration or just for reference on how Stellent works, this is it!

From start to finish this book explains Stellent architecture and how it works, to technical details for creating customizations to fit into any organization. Where Stellent's standard documentation stops, this book bridges the gap and helps you understand how to develop customizations to deploy in your organization.

Included with this book are a lot of examples of code that you can download. The code examples are a great help to get you moving in the right direction and try the techniques used in the book.

You won't be disappointed adding this book to your library of Stellent development reference materials.

The "Definitive Guide" is definitely that.

It covers everything from starting out with your Stellent installation, to learning the ropes, all the way through to customising it to your heart's content.

You also get useful overviews of Stellent's architecture (a must for any would-be developer/manager/support team!), gentle introductions to the different components, and hard-core technical documentation which is an invaluable reference.

Of course, there's also tons of samples, and the code is available to download to use yourself.

Absolutely a necessity for anyone working with Stellent Content Server.

If you do Stellent development in your environment, this book is invaluable.

Our company has many certified Stellent developers and when I shared my copy with them, they immediately found a ton of information that they can apply to projects they are working on today - and they have been developing on Stellent for numerous years. It is a tool I will buy for all of my developers so they have immediate access to the knowledge.

Thanks Bex.
