The BP2X speakers are the second set of Definitive Tech speakers that I have purchased, both from Amazon. I have been using these speakers since mid October 2010 and simply love them! Currently, I am using them as front surround/height speakers, mounted 3 feet above my left and right front speakers. The BP2X'S provide that little something "extra" that was missing before. They really add to the sound stage, simply awesome for football games,music dvd's and movies. I plan to move them to a rear surround configuration once my remodeling project is completed, but they are fantastic in the current configuration. They where shipped and received quickly, well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The price that I paid through Amazon was the lowest that I found at the time, even ordered my brother a pair as a gift(he loves his as well). Highly recommended!!!

Best surround speakers i have owned got these on sale for $377 a pair for open box,when they arrived opened them and these suckers were brand new they had'nt even been taken out still in original plastic sealed.I purchased 2 pair for my 7.1 side and rear,wasn't sure if they blend in with my 8060 st's in the front since they were older model but these babies did and then some,they handle 200 watts I'm putn 110 watts and they have no distortion at all actually had to turn decible level down on them to get them to blend in with the front speakers also they sound way way better on full range than using the audysee on the reciever the audysee wants to put them at 100htz but put them at 250htz or higher if u can they really shine when u do that.I hope that helps.

I got addicted to definitive speakers after listening to them at best buy late in december. Ive now got a definitive mythos three center speaker and pro monitor 1000's as my front's. I am using the bi-polors as my rear surround speakers and the sound quality is simply amazing. I replaced a pair of older panasonic speakers. These definitive bi-polar speakers deliver, they reproduce sound so well, I feel like I am in a theater. Thank you definitive! I plan on purchasing another pair for to replace my left/right surrounds, as i have a 7.1 set up...

I purchased these last week along with some other Definitive Technology products. I haven't tinkered with them too much, but the surround is so much more pronounced and prevalent. Band of Brothers, with the mortars and artillery crashing through the forest sounds just incredible. The two "speakers" on each unit make it feel like I'm right in the middle of the action.

I've only tried them as rear surrounds. I might set them up as front high speakers and see how they add to the sound stage that way.

They're a discontinued speaker, so the price is incredible for the quality of speaker you get. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with these speakers, especially at the current ($249/pair) price.

This is an older Definitive model, but I am very happy with it. Typical excellent Definitive quality. I'm using them for surrounds for a 5.1 system and they sound incredible. Plenty of range.
