I can't believe i paid for this crap but i wont be writing anything that hasn't already said about why not to buy this dvd. The background music was totally f***ed up and only pictures of the band were shown i was expecting something like on the extra stuff from their self-titled cd. Even the 'Music In High Places' dvd was better. Do yourself a favor and dont buy this dvd.

I eagerly awaited this in the mail only to be disapointed. Like the guy who also reviewed the DVD, I thought "All Access" ment a lot of cool stuff like the videos and perfomances. Chrome dreams (makers of the DVD) even failed to put Deftones music in the DVD as background music!! They rathered opted to play some sorry, crappy, whinny, rock that sounded like it was punk. Once I finished watching this tragic DVD I realized that I knew pretty much what was discussed about the history of the Deftones, the early years, and so forth was stuff I alredy knew and I could tell you what they missed too. Unless you want to know who was with the Deftones when they were jaming the in early days, dont buy the DVD and surf the web for Deftone history, Or if your too lazy just buy the DVD and expect what you would find on the web. Keep in mind that the DVD was not officially recognized by the Deftones. (That explains it all). You might as well wait for the Deftones to put out their official biography.

MUSIC VIDEO THE DEFTONES PUT OUT BUT....THIS DVD HAS NONE OF THAT, IT JUST HAS A BUNCH OF PEOPLE LIKE OLD HIGH SCHOOL BUDDIES,
CLUB PROMOTERS, AND OTHER RANDOM PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT THE DEFTONES LIKE THEIR EARLY YEARS TIL NOW...I DONT KNOW I WOULD RATHER HEAR THE ACTUAL BAND EXPLAINING AND TALKING ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCES INSTEAD OF THESE PEOPLE WHO "KNOW" THEM...SO IF YOUR A DIE HARD FAN I GUESS IT WOULD BE COOL TO OWN BUT ONLY SEE ONCE
EVERY 3 MONTHS..OH YEAH THE DEFTONES HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS
DVD AS IT STATES IN THE BEGINING OF THE DVD.

This doesn't even deserve a star. This had to have been the worst ever made. No band member interviews, music, or performances. They should change the title to "Deaftones Death by Mockumentary", so it won't be confused by a fan. This shouldn't even be assoiciated with them and I am a huge Deftones fan.

If you buy this dvd with, thinking that the music of the deftones will appear. Your in for a extremly disappointing ride, the dvd contains an array of friends and pictures of the early years. But not once does the dvd contain actual footage of any of their early concerts or sessions. If your looking for early deftones videos, and live concert footage make sure you purchase deftones b-sides and rarities which is also available on amazon. The cd/dvd contains both early footage and great b-sides only found on import singles. If you just became a fan , you'll love it . If you've been a fan and don't own it get it . It's truly awsome to have.

It's a great film to watch if you're a fan of the Deftones and you want to get to know them better.
