This is an excellent choice for the average guy. I am in my late 20's, working, living a regular active lifestyle. I will not vouch for the hardcore fitness guy, because that is not me. Through the years I have bought other brands of deodorant when on sale (ie. Right Guard, Mitchum, Old Spice, Sure), and have found myself always going back to Degree (others become back-up). The other brands that I have used can be somewhat comparable. Mitchum works alright, but it has much less deodorant and is more expensive. Old Spice also is a contender, but the smell is a little strong and its cross brands are not always consistent with one another. Overall, Degree is an excellent choice for the average guy who needs a quality, non-budget breaking deodorant.

Update; I tried the "Ion Technology" Degree and it was awful, stick with the regular Degree. Degree for Men Deodorant With Silver Ion Technology, Cool Impact, 3-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6)

Pros:
-Budget priced
-Bigger stick than more expensive brands (ie. Mitchum)
-Not an overwhelming perfume smell
-Never a problem with wetness
-No white residue

Con:
-Sometimes cheaper at drug store

This Degree Men's Body Responsive Antiperspirant & Deodorant is the product I was looking for.

I've used Degree deodorant for a long time and like the Clean scent. I work in manufacturing and it works all night long. I'm not a fan of the big scents of Old Spice and Speed Stick. I think Degree is the best anti-perspirant/deodorant on the market and it's not too expensive.

I always had problems getting this scent from my local store. I loved that it was available on Amazon.

This is the only deodorant that my husband can use, it is great!! No more wet shirts!!

This product is very effective. It definetly reduces underarm wetness by atleast 70%. The fragrance is also good and subtle. It does not interfere with the perfume fragrance.

Now the folllowing problems:

1. There is something seriously wrong with the product. When you rotate the bottom lever for the wax to come on top, it comes up only after several rotations (even when using for the first few times). And now, when you want the deodarant wax to go down, you rotate the lever, the other way round. But now, it does not go down. I use the plastic cap to press the wax down. Initially I thought the 1st package may be defective; now I am using the 3rd one and that too is the same. Surprising, that unilever did not do this basic testing?

2. Now when you reach the last 30% (after 15-20 uses), the deodarant just suddenly breaks off into small pieces when applying. The pieces fall on the floor and its very difficult to clean, as they are like wax/oil.

3. I did notice some residue on the front side my light colored shirts, at the end of the day.

In a nutshell, its a great product, with a very cheap packing.

As a deodorant, it does do its job -- no complaints, and the scene it not overbearing. My biggest complaint is that shortly after you put it on, its starts flaking everywhere. Case in point, I went to the doctor, and needed to take my shirt off. Once my shirt and undershirt came off, I have deodorant flakes flying all over the place from my pits. I had only put this on about 30 minutes prior, and there is goes flaking everywhere. It doesnt matter how much you put on, it just ends of flaking, and its nasty. My other complaint is that some of the scents are way too powerful like clean slate, and its smell like you dumped a bottle of cologne on even if you only put a little. I really recommend trying something else because I am.

This product keeps me clean, dry and smelling like I just stepped out of the shower.

I used this product once, the next morning I woke and under my arms were all pimples, all red, they got progessively worse and became infected. I had a follic infection which developed into a staph infection. This infection caused me to end up in the hospital where they had to lance the area and on antibiotics intravenously for 4 days. I have a scar now for the rest of my life. DO NOT USE THIS DEODARANT. Company is very reluctant to compensate on this product.

Thanks to this horrible deodorant, I have damaged over 20 shirts of mine. This deodorant works great and does the job, however you soon realise that all your shirts are becoming damaged. You will notice large yellow stains under the arms of the shirt, where you applied the deodorant. These stains DO NOT come out and your shirts will be permanently damaged. This is one of the worst products I have ever used. Stay far away from this horrible product or risk losing all your favorite shirts.
