Little Short but, Great, February 20, 2006
This review is from: Degrees of Black (Audio CD)
Just as good as their first CD but abbreviated. Highly recommended for all hard rock listeners. If you like Staind, Fuel, & other similiar bands - go for it. Go to DFL website for deal on this CD.

Another Great Release from DFL..., January 19, 2011
Man, what a shame about this band. Yes, the debut was great - but I would argue that this release, along with "Consequence of Vanishing" are superior to it.
...Which makes it somewhat tragic that these other two albums are not supported by a major label and available at your local outlet!
And how come I never hear these tracks on Sirius!? I thought satellite radio was rock music's savior at first, but even THEY are missing the boat half the time.
Anyways, a fine rock music record here. Very enjoyable, heavy and grungy yet melodic as you may expect if you've heard their other stuff. The singer's voice is very good, and unique. I don't care if there are similarities to other bands - DFL's sound is unique to me, and I hope they'll reform for another record.
Difficult to take this one out of rotation in my car. Buy it, it's cheap and you won't regret it.

DFL gives us more great music !, June 15, 2010
If you like soulful (sometimes hard) southern groove music, you've got to check out their music.
This release has more of Jason Hughes' talent, especially on writing & guitars.
Also: Jason has a new band called Driving Eternity. Check them out on myspace.
Enjoy.
