I'm from Florida, which is about as far from you can get from the hyphy scene. Don't let the Oakland roots fool you, or the bombastic voice. Keak Da Sneak has some of the most innovative sounds incorporating trip hop beats with synthesized back sounds and loops that make the party feel alive and well. Oakland has always been a home to a fusion of sounds from around the country yet wholly its own and Keak is no different. If you are looking to get away from the mainstream sounds of money and power there is no better place than this... where fun is the word and excitement is the movement. Keak Da Sneak is one of the dopest Bay Area rappers of today. Too bad his stays in the Bay Area. He deserves a spot in the mainstream, but you gotta respect the loyalty to the Bay. SJ, SF, and The OAK all day. Keep slappin' it Keak!

This is a good CD to purchase if you're down with Hyphy Music and if you're a fan of Keak. I wasn't a fan of Keak at first because of his voice, but once I started LISTENING to what he was saying the voice is what made it tight and I've been hooked since!! The only complaint I have about this CD is that there are too many guest appearances. Some of those cats should have been left off. Other than that, the beats slap and Keak comes with it with his flows. Don't knock it until you LISTEN to it.

The King of the Bay does it again. Keak Da Sneak hasn't released another album since 2003, but he makes the time that was lost with Deified. The Album is a must have for anyone in the Northern California area. Including the fans of hyphy music. The ALbum includes more then just people from the Bay Area. Chingo Bling, Paul Wall and others. The Album starts great and ends hard and very nice. I was glad that I purchased the King's well developed album. From track one to twenty-three, I am Hyphy mode with Keak Da Sneak's Deified.

dont expect any less from da sneak...this album is sauce! brings our Oakland A-Game and the hyphy music!
