"The authors have done a great job in assimilating surgery essentials with anatomy, embryology, high-yield recall questions, clinical case presentations, definitions, physical diagnosis, common presenting signs and symptoms, and significance of lab findings. In addition to that, they have successfully packed the book with powerful illustrative images....It is a packed resource for the wards, for the shelf exam, as well as for Step 2."--Sanober A. 5.0 out of 5 stars Cuts To The Chase!, June 10, 2010

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Picked up this gem of a surgery review, and wow, what a fantastic value. Deja Review Surgery truly cuts out every extraneous and unnecessary factoid, leaving but those points of utmost importance. When time is an issue and it's getting down to the wire, enter Deja Review Surgery. Formatted so simply; it's literally question and then answer, question, and then answer. To be sure, when charts or pictures are needed to describe an answer, they are included. Deja Review Surgery fits best as a third line review. That is, Schwartz' Principles of Surgery for the fundamental understanding followed by Case Files: Surgery, and for dessert, Deja Review Surgery. In short, Deja Review Surgery is an excellent surgery review when time is limited to the extreme.
