Thats her voice im talking about, heard her whole album bday, and to tell you the truth that is quite amazing. Will be a classic. This girl is coming of age and unleashed the talent within herself and you can just hear it in her extraordinary aretha franklin style vocals. This single is the showing that she can put emotion in her song, real raw animalistic powerful range.
I shudder to think but this girl is actually getting better.

Dja Vu is stellar,

Deja Vu is a great single and one of Beyonce's many top 5 singles. Not only is it an amazing production with a brilliant vocal performance, it's also a great performance song. The misinformed say that it is Crazy in Love part 2 but where Crazy in Love is a go-go/pop song, Deja Vu is more in line with old funk music. Additionally, B'Day itself contains a lot of funk elements. In short, Deja Vu was on the best singles of 2006 and of Beyonce's career.

Re-Using Old Ideas?,
This review is from: Deja Vu (Audio CD)
I guess that is expected if you did an album in only three weeks, but I still expected more from Beyonce. "Deja Vu" is basically "Crazy In Love" pt.2 and yet it lacks the creativity of "Crazy In Love". This has not stop the song from going number one and it will not stop her album from going number one. However, it is time for her work to mature with her. While the track is hot, the fact she has already released a second song should tell you this song will not be considered a 'classic'.
