Haque's solid style covering old favorites while imbuing them with new life. I put this in the same category as Double Vision, Fourplay and LA4. Great lively, yet relaxing music for a Sunday afternoon or a mellow evening with old friends.

Pat Martino meets 70s rock,

Fareed has succeeding in picking up an a certain aspect of Pat Martino's style and developing it. Listen to Pat's version of Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now and his other work with Gil Goldstein and also Kenwood Dennard and you see where Fareed is coming from. Interesting music!

Fantastic CD. If you are into discovering unbelievably talented guitarists who create innovative works with new and old music alike, Fareed Haque may be for you. You can also check out works with his band Garage Mahal. I have seen him play live several times, and he is even more impressive in concert.
