There are afternoons that I relax with this CD and am transported to Paris on a spring day. Francine Roche's voice can take away all the stresses of the world (especially with her rendition of "La Vie en Rose") and send you to a relaxing, wonderful foreign land. This CD is wonderful.

This is a lady who has a voice that is so so special and sweet. I have never bought a tape whose songs I needed a translation book for before, but after listening to this tape in a coffee shop I didn't care WHAT she was singing about -all I cared about was that I HAD to add this to my collection. Roche's music has added a new term into my life -Morning Music. This is music that adds so much brightness into my morning ...like sunlight coming through windows after the curtains are drawn open. So sweet, almost angelic. She dedicates this tape to her sons...and let me tell you, she has the perfect voice that one would wish their mother to sing bedtime songs with. I absolutely recommend this tape, over and over again. For me, it definitely goes into my stack of tapes that I coin "the soundtracks of my life".
