What an unbelievable album. I was just looking for one song on this album and after sampling a few of the other songs, I took a chance and bought the album. I was blown away! I don't own any other Crosby, Stills &Nash so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's like the very best of 70's music- without the silliness or any of the other extremes. Very mellow yet full of passion. Lyrics are awesome,- you can understand everything they say- and they have a lot of good stuff to say.
You will Love this album, but it and play tracks #6 and 9 first.

OK I might just be imagining that it sounds better on vinyl as I have listened to it for years on vinyl. I go back to this album and it always pleases. This album is musically all over the place from Pop to Hard Rock to some Folksy country stuff. That's what keeps this album relevant after so many years. And I will still break out the vinyl version on occasion.

The song "Carry On" popped into my head so I went searching for it online and just went into the bliss as I listened to it. The music on this album is incredible. Many CS&N/CSN&Y songs became anthems for us baby boomers. This album in particular still stands as one of the finest from the era.

Seriously, this is one of THE finest albums ever written. I have learned most of what I know today from this album and a few others that should be listed as all time classics. Joan Baez taught me to sing, TBone Walker taught me how to play the guitar and this album....taught me how to write. This is a must for anyone who chooses to call themselves musicians. Don't miss this one kiddies....I'm Serious. Take a listen to each song....then buy this entire recording...dare I say album...no I won't, download those MP3s!!!! Right Now!
