I got a couple of bottle for my wife and she was so excited! I got the Ruby Slipper color, which looks like clear with sparkles indoors, then goes bright red outdoors. It's so much fun. My wife paints my nieces toes with it, and they say they are a hit a recess! Would totally recommend the nail polish to anyone!

I have really enjoyed the Del Sol nail polish! I just can't have enough! Not only do I love painting my nails with it, but also friends and family ask to use the polish. I love going out into the sun and watching the color change right before my eyes! It's magic! It's so fun and I recommend anyone who loves nail polish to try this out! You won't regret it! Two colors in one nail polish bottle. The sun is what changes the polish to a different color, then when you go back inside it changes back. Love it!

My sister got me the color "Reckless" as a gift which is white and changes to a light pink.
When I first painted it on I went outside and the color did change but not very much.
After a few days the polish started to chip then after about a week it turned this odd off yellow color making my toenails look diseased. At that point, I removed it and do not plan on using it again.

I researched and purchased this nail polished after visiting with my hairstylist. She was on vacation and told me about a nail polish purchased that changed colors. She went outside keeping one hand in her pocket, so I could see the difference. I thought it was pretty cool. I found some nail polish here and decided to purchase. I like the color it is not to loud to wear to work. It's ok the color changes back so quickly when you come back inside in less than a minute. I was hoping it would stay the sun change color a little longer. I showed to my coworker that purchased some as well. I she said she didn't see the color change. The paint color chip quickly and didn't last long on my nails. I applied to my natural nails. Maybe, if will last longer on fake nails or treated nails.

I visted the Del Sol store in Myrtle Beach, SC. I purchased 8 bottles. Some colors are very obvious when the changed (like Ruby red which is clear glitter indoors and bright red outdoors) while others are not so obvious (like the blue glitter to green glitter I still don't see a change). The quality of the polish is great. It goes on smooth and dries hard. You pay 9$ a bottle at the store (there is also a 'buy 3 get one free' special usually). YOu can also find local coupons to get a free color changing tote bag with purchase in Myrtle Beach. I reccomend this product but if you are unsure, find a local store and check the products out in person.

I bought the color "Beach Bum" from Amazon, and I also already owned "First Kiss", "Spike", "Superhero", and "Peek A Boo" which I bought separately from several Del Sol stores scattered around the US. I really like the novelty of these nail polishes as I've never seen nail polishes that could change color in the sun. However, they're not as good quality as OPI so they do chip faster, sometimes peel if I layer too much, and require a longer wait time in between layers. They also tend to layer kind of streaky versus OPI.

"Peak A Boo" and "Beach Bum" are my favorite because they are clear colors for the most part. "Peak A Boo" definitely stays clear regardless of how much is layered on. "Beach Bum" starts out pretty much clear with one layer and with subsequent layers will show a tinge of pink, but never as solid pink as it looks like in the bottle.

I give it 5 stars for being a fun and unique color changing nail polish.

I call the Del Sol line of nail polishes the "vacation nail polish". These nail polishes change color when under direct sunlight. I was first introduced to Del Sol's color changing nail polishes when I went on my first cruise to Mexico and Central America about seven years ago. They had Del Sol stores on many of the cruise ship's ports. So, over the years, I've bought and tried First Kiss, Electrick, Spike, Super Hero, etc. I even bought some of these nail polishes for my friends. But since I live in the Midwest, my friends and I can't really take that much advantage of these nail polishes. These nail polishes are great for those who go to the beach a lot or for those going on vacation to places of warm climates. Personally, for me, I like Del Sol's color-changing t-shirts and tote bags better than their nail polishes. Don't expect Del Sol nail polishes to be of the same long-lasting quality as OPI, CND's Shellac, Zoya, Nubar, butter London, Mavala Switzerland, China Glaze, Orly, Revlon, or even Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure line. The Del Sol nail polishes did last longer than some of my Essie, Bari Pure Ice, Confetti, Rimmel London, Milani, NYC, Avon, and Wet n' Wild nail polishes though. I repeat, think of Del Sol nail polish as a "vacation nail polish". Don't expect the nail polishes to stay intact after more than a week, especially when these nail polishes are to be seen under direct sunlight, when people are going to be active swimming, gardening, surfing, playing beach volleyball, etc. Really, besides being the vacation nail polish, I consider Del Sol nail polish as the souvenir nail polish. When many women buy this Del Sol nail polish, including me, we tend to buy some more bottles to give as gifts to friends and family to let them know that we did think of them while we were out enjoying the sun at our vacation destinations. I've bought these Del Sol nail polishes in Mexico and Florida. In fact, last week, one of my co-workers was wearing the Del Sol nail polish I gave her last year, even though she did comment that she was waiting to leave work to see the color change in the sun. She put OPI Silver Shatter on top of it as well as part of an experiment. Anyways, this is a fun nail polish, but don't place too much expectations on it as well. When these nail polishes change color, don't expect some dramatic color change. In my opinion, the color changes are subtle. Anyways, just like the nail Shatters and Crackles that many women are buying from various nail brands, people have different opinions. I'd say try one bottle and see what you think. This nail polish is most ideal for those who are outdoors a lot in regions and climates with lots of sun.

I really love these, they are great when the sun starts shining bright, but the color changing properties actually wear off slightly, in about a week... but by the time that happens it has already started to chip. Still really fun and worthwhile.

I've had Reckless Del Sol nail polish for a while now and I have to say I love it! When you put it on indoors it is a metallic white and outdoors it subtly changes to a really beautiful pale pink. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone, especially this color. I found that it looks very good after 2 coats, and dries quickly.It is my favorite nail polish.

This polish is so much fun. I bought "First Kiss" - now it is the the first polish I pick. Two coats and a Diamond Dry finish and it looks so pretty. The polish goes on easily (not too thich or to thin). Drys fast.
OK, it does tend to chip off, so if you like to do your nails every other day, you will like this. I plan to buy several more colors. Nice gift. It really works with the sun!
