Wow what a bunch of whiny customers...don't you think the drivers safety should come before your shipment of junk? Your area may only have a few inches. However the locations outside of your area that the truck is passing through could be dangerous. Maybe you should think of others besides just yourself.
I ordered a tv on Prime with delivery promised Tuesday (yesterday). Still not here by end of the day Wednesday. Tracking history says the package reached Birmingham at 12:02 am Tuesday. Got that "inclement weather" excuse, but there have been no major road closings in this town. Nothing but blue skies today. The package has been in my town for almost 48 hours. No lives at risk. After an hour on the phone I got an update that it will be delivered tomorrow, but not any promised time of day.
Problem is that I have to leave at about 1 pm for a scheduled flight and I'm doubtful that the tv, if it gets here late, will still be on my front porch when I return. Can't get a promised delivery time from FedEx. To my knowledge, this is the first Prime shipment I have had shipped FedEx and, I hope, the last.
Just blowing off steam but I'm sure Amazon doesn't listen
