Someone is (wasting a lot of their own time) writing negative reviews because they are on an ideological bend...they even attack the Fair Tax because Boortz may not believe in global warming. Bad logic...it has nothing to do with the book.

Report the reviews as inappropriate, and mark them as unhelpful. If a reviewer hasn't read the book, or doesn't comment on the book, it shouldn't be here, whether it is for 1 star or 5, in my opinion. Granted, over a thousand reviews would take hundreds of pages to browse, but I was able to find about 15 in less than 5 minutes that didn't even talk about the book.

That so-called "FairTax" is a fraud and swindles you out of some of your pay. If you didn't understand the book, read the 'Money' magazine story for Oct 2005.
The Bill of RIghts (9th and 10th) limit the Federal Govt. to what is in the Constitution, that is why we never had a national sales tax.
Pres. Bush's economic advisors rejected it in 2005. Candidate Mitt Romney rejected it in 2012.
If you know how to use a calculator just check their figures to see how it affects you adversely.
