Teresa Cristina is the princess of Samba. "Delicada" keeps the right track on the rescue of true samba. And Grupo Semente is once again wonderful at Teresa's side!

Cristina and Jorge Aragão keep the tradition of soprano-pitched cavaco/cavaquinho and deep surdo bass drum-beat samba alive. Hooray! The credit notes are in Portuguese only, but lyrics are provided along with chord designations, so you can play along. Such cheerful music! Track 10 is a choro instrumental, expressing roots. Swaying ballads are included. It concludes strongly with a medley of samba dances. "Delicada" is a fun album, and Christina sings delightfully.
