This Delicate Freakin' Flower, gets not only one shifter but two and one of them the bear, let me tell you he is packing something huge. LOL. Oh my, this story takes you down Naomi's path of wanting a non-chaos world. She want to mate with a human, so when she finds her shifter mate by surprise it freaks her out. Then she finds she has not only one but two shifter mates, well needless to say she leads these two hot shape shifters down a wicked path because she wants no part of it. The thing she didn't bank on is they are not going to give up no matter how delicate she wasn't to be treated. Don't let Naomi fool you she's not as delicate as she says because she can take down the best of them especially when she has a threat against her and it brings her family into the scenario. This is another fun and sexy hot story with some added suspense by Eve, that takes you into a Ménage with anal sex so hot you may have to take a cold shower after reading LOL.

This story is not a novella it's a full novel, so for those who likes to get a little more into the mind of the characters more here you a book from Eve to try.

I recommend this novel to anyone how loves a fun erotic paranormal romance.

Teaser
"Are you always this irritable?" asked the cat.
Naomi shot him a glare. "Gee, let me see. My friend dragged me to a lacrosse game, which, I might add, is not my idea of a good time in the first place, where some clumsy bear missed a ball causing me to get injured. That same bear and his alley cat then show up and try to claim me as their mate even though I don't want one. I think I've earned the right to be annoyed."
"I told you we should have brought more flowers," Ethan grumbled.

The concept is great, the writing is first class, the guys are A+, the family is realistic and entertaining - and then there's the heroine. This gal does nothing but wave her arms and screech, constantly, at everyone, to the point that it detracts from the story. Even her rough and tumble brothers and her lacrosse playing blood-on-the-ice lovers manage to have conversations in a normal tone of voice, but not her. I get her need to stand up for herself, but come on. The only time she quiets down is when her mother tells her not to take that tone of voice with her, and our girl mutters, "Sorry Ma."

It started out as a really cute story, but as I got further in and it became apparent that this character was not going to stop yelling in my face, cute became annoying. The lack of emotional range created by her one-note performance made her character seem brittle and not very likable. IMHO her yummy guys could have done better for themselves. It does however speak well for the author's ability to create realism in her characters, as I had to keep checking to see if my ears were bleeding:)

Naomi is a wolf shifter. She grew up in the typical shifter household, with lots of pups and lots of fighting. Naomi however is a Delicate Freakin' Flower and she's determined to find herself a nice stable human to settle down with so she doesn't have to worry about her breakables. The last thing she wants is a shifter mate. It's rare that shifter's find their one true mate so she's not too worried until she attends a lacrosse game and gets sideswiped by her own erratic shifter hormones. Isn't it just her luck that fate would provide her with the antithesis of what she wants.

Ethan a Kodiak bear and Javier a panther are the newest additions to the Ottawa city Loup-Garrou's lacrosse team. Ethan and Javier are quite the pair kicking butt and taking names, they are known across the sport as an unbeatable pair. When they set their minds to something they always accomplish their goal. When they discover their mate, Ethan and Javier set to winning over their Delicate Freakin' Flower. Too bad she's not more amenable to their needs, this may be one goal that's out of their reach. When they discover danger stalking their woman her wants are the last thing on their minds. Ethan and Javier will do anything to protect their mate!

Delicate Freakin' Flower had me laughing my rear off. Not only is Delicate Freakin' Flower laugh-out-loud funny but it's also one heck of a steamy read! The heat that burns between these three is electrified beyond belief and is intensified by Naomi's desire to resist the temptation of Ethan and Javier. Ethan is this strong intense Kodiak bear but I swear he melted my heart. He's so sweet and thoughtful. Javier is as feisty as you would think a cat would be. He's a renowned playboy.

This novel can easily be described in one word – HOT! Langlais has once again created a vibrant tale full of realism and sizzling relationships with enough comedy to keep you glued to the pages. Langlais’ story was absolutely hilarious but never over the top. At the same time, she develops her unique brand of shifters and mates in such a manner that they become real for the reader while transporting them into a story that will keep them glued to the pages.

Langlais develops characters (and relationships) to die for. Not only would they die for one another, but they’re the type of people that readers would die to get to know (or to be in a relationship with). Our main trio was a lot of fun to get to know. I loved how different each of the characters were. The diversity of personalities fit together quite well and also helped to explain the ease with which they all came together. Langlais truly allows readers to see inside the characters’ minds. Her reasoning for things really explained how she thought and why she was fighting herself, not wanting to give into her desires. I also thoroughly enjoyed the family dynamic that we got to know as well. They added body and fun to the story while highlighting the alpha tendencies of shifters.

This novel was well plotted and executed, making it enjoyable from cover to cover. Langlais’ unique brand of writing really shines through as her phenomenal characters take over your life for a short while.
