Book Description

June 12, 1982
With the startling beauty of a princess but hardly the wealth to be associated with royalty, Miss Thalia Temple's pride prevents her from growing too close to anyone or anything unfamiliar to her even when the charming Lord Philip Sandron courts her. He is a handsome, passionate gentleman with a strong countenance and a determination to win Miss Thalia's heart - if she'll allow him the chance. When she realizes he may be a great help to her in matters of business, she doesn't expect him to become the subject of her heart's drama.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not really a romance story, July 20, 2009

This review is from: A Delicate Situation (Mass Market Paperback)
I won't repeat the scenario, as reader can find it in the "Editor's Review' section. This story was more of an account of adventures of Miss Thalia Temple, and not much of the romance between the hero and heroine; in fact, the romance part was rather forcefully written. Not convincing enough. However, the description of adventures, background of literature and cultures were nicely described, made it quite an educational read. I guess I will keep the book.
