Great, But Don't Expect Jammageddon,

The album of focus is a great, spacey, experimental work. I bought it after watching some live videos on their website expecting it to be packed with the Mars Volta-esque jams they play live. However, this is not the case. The material is more ambient and synth-focused, with sprinklings of the rocking jams I was expecting interspersed between the trippyness. Strongly recommended to those looking for such things.

This is a CD of album-based music. And good music at that. If you think of The Mars Volta, combined with even more psychedelic-ness and no words, then you are thinking of Our Delicate Stranded Nightmare. I would recommend this to those who like Ataxia, Mars Volta, or the One Hot Minute album by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
