Best sprouting rate of all strawberry seeds I've tried so far
Here's how I did it: I wetted a scoop of seed sprouting mix with warm water in a shallow plastic cup, then sprinkled the seeds on top of the soil. Dont bother covering them with soil or they won't sprout. I covered the cup with clear plastic wrap (for humidity) and set them under a grow light for three days and... there were sprouts. An amazing number of sprouts...

Old Seeds
Hirts sold me a "Garden Fresh Pack", but the package was year past the sell by date. Totally lame. I haven't planted them yet, but I'm a annoyed. update: My strawberries have started producing fruit, and I was curious to why the berries were so tiny. I found the package and it said they were alpine strawberries. That kind of berry is very small. The ad...
