So many dating books make you feel worse about yourself by the time you've finished reading only the first half. This one takes a different approach. It doesn't tell you all the things you have to change about yourself to attract a man. Instead it shows you how to choose a man who's right for you. And in a fun way, too! I mean, who doesn't like to eat? And who knew you could tell so much about a guy over a single meal? I can see clearly now that I have been settling far too often for Gourmet Gigolos when what I really wanted was a Food Sensualist. It was a revelation! Armed with this new insight about myself and about men and dating in general, I can't wait to get back out there and test it out...

The women who approve of this book with the anecdotal research are the same ones who find themselves forever frustrated and lonely. I think it is far interesting and funny if women use this book as a map to find a mate, only to find that the perfect man is not heterosexual. I can be a food snob too. I enjoy traveling to Paris and sampling great cuisine, or eating my veggies at home, but please don't touch my cheese curls or Frito's ! I have obtained a graduate degree, love to play any sport and I am a former college athlete, therapist, and romantic. I love taking long walks -to my local convenience store- and sharing McDonald's fries with my mate. I would love to meet a woman who will look beyond my questionable eating habits and see the wounded and hungry child within me. Please get to know me, before you reject me due to my habits.

More About the Author

Kitchen vixen, Babe Scott, is on a mission to put the flirt into food. Her new book Man Candy and Cupcakes combines Babe's two passions - cupcakes and cute guys. The first goes straight to her thighs while the other she only wishes would. Babe guarantees no one with a pulse and a sweet tooth will be able to resist these seductive cupcake recipes, let alone her buffed bakers.

This cupcake queen has been up to her elbows in baking supplies and baby oil to bring this abtastic tome to life. She tracked down the world's sexiest men and invented her own provocative flavour profiles. Babe also styled and photographed the bakers, and even administered the suntan lotion where required. It was an all-consuming task but Babe approached it with the same zeal with which Cher conquers the stage at Caesar's Palace.

This stovetop siren is also the author of an entertaining guide for the domestically challenged titled The Lazy Hostess. This titillating tome was published in the UK and Australia by Transworld Publishers and will be launched in the US in October by Babe's own imprint, Babe Media. The Lazy Hostess puts the curve into cocktail parties by showing readers how to host a sizzling soiree without stretching the wallet or inducing a stress headache. Babe is also a card-carrying manthropologist, having previously authored Delicious Dating, a book that reveals what you can tell about a man's mating style from his dining style.

Babe has aired her recipes for fun and flirtation on The Today Show, Good Day New York, Pix11 News, 7 Live San Francisco, Fox 25 Boston, WGN Chicago and a smorgasbord of other shows. Her culinary adventures have also been recounted in The New York Post, Glamour.com and many other popular sites. Babe Scott blogs for The Huffington Post and has written for of online publications including CNN Living, Yahoo!Shine, Buzzfeed, Elle Australia, Your Tango, She Said and many other popular sites.
