Personally, I am not a perfume person. There are few fragrances I like, let alone would actually spend $50.00+ on a bottle for; Red Delicious by Donna Karan is one of the few that I would hand over the cash for. It has wonderful fruity notes without being over powering. If you are partial to fruity perfumes or like a light perfume, you will enjoy this very much.

On first try I felt it smelled a bit acidic, but after about 2 or 3 wears, it seemed less acidic and more fruitish. So, if at first it puts you off, try it a few more times. Pick up a sample from your department store and try it at least 3 times. If after that you hate it, then at least you didn't waste the cash.

The only complaint I have on this perfume is that because it is such a light perfume, it fades within 3-4hrs. I would say I enjoy the first notes best, but the lighter second and third notes are wonderful too,. they are just very faint. Other than that it is definitely worth the money, and is one of the few perfumes I would reccomend.

I knew that I liked Be Delicious, the other perfume from Donna Karan and asked my sister to give it to me for Christmas. She insisted that I should try Red Delicious and she bought me a gift set with both perfumes. I tried the Red Delicious, afraid that I wouldn't like it. I was pleasantly surprised. I am very picky about perfumes and I can't stand musky or powdery-smelling perfumes. This perfume, when I wear it, doesn't really smell fruity to me. It does smell a little bit like apple when you first spray it, but then the smell immediately gets more complex. It's an unusual smell with a little bit of spice and a little bit of a soapy, clean smell. This perfume lasts several hours on my skin, but the results will very depending on each individual's body chemistry. This scent is definitely more seductive and alluring than Be Delicious, which is more of a light, fun scent. My husband even likes this perfume, which is a miracle in itself. He is even more picky than I am about scents. Anyway, this perfume is worth a try, but I would strongly recommend people to try a sample at a department store first and see how the scent changes on them and how long it lasts before ordering it online.

Donna Karen has some of the best mens, and womens fragrances. The lingering smell of a cider mill with fresh apples, and DKs perfect blend, makes this a must have.

The poduct was a gift. It arrived in a timely manner, was a good price and the receiver loved it.

I purchased the DKNY Red Delicious for women and received the mens one instead. I gave it away as a present as I didnt want the headache of returning the item.

My husband got me this for Christmas. Obviously he don't know me because I love soft floral scents. This perfume, in my opinion, is very strong and loud. It reminded me of something my grandma would wear & believe me she loves her strong scented perfumes like White Diamonds. But aside from that, the smell is okay, it smells beautiful, don't get me wrong, & it lasts for hours unlike some perfumes (Paris Hilton). It has a spicy fruity smell to it. But if you're a 20 something female who don't care too strongly for strong scents, this isn't for you. Might I recommend Curious by Britney Spears. & if you can't afford this but want something similar, I find Fantasy by Britney Spears a bit strong and spicy like this one.
