This recipe book was right up my alley. I am a lover of fall because I get to eat all the pumpkin recipes and baked good I can cram into my mouth. I absolutely love pumpkin anything! This book is excellent because it sets you in the mood with a little holiday history, then gives you A TON of delicious pumpkin recipes. There are SEVERAL different pumpkin pie recipes and I have already tried two of them: they were both delicious.

If you want to treat yourself to some delicious pumpkin recipes this fall, check this book out.

Cookbooks are so much better when they deliver a narrative along with great recipes. I'm the kind of cook who will sit and read through a cookbook during TV commercials to get ideas and facts. This cookbook really delivers some interesting facts about the humble pumpkin. I am really looking forward to trying out some of the recipes. My family isn't big on pumpkin pie, so I always try to do something new and different with this delicious and nutritious squash when I can.

If you like pumpkin, as I do, then this is the recipe book to get. More than a cookbook, it has fun facts about Thanksgiving and, of course, the pumpkin. I found several recipes that I can't wait to try. I was surprised to find a recipe for pumpkin ice cream and the pumpkin drinks and smoothie. Yes, I recommend this recipe book and give it 5 stars.

I have found so many uses and good , practical ways of using pumpkin. It's not just for Thanksgiving any more! I live in a warm climate and a pumpkin pie is not always the best for dessert. I like to pot luck and I found some great variations on old favorites .Pumpkin is always available and my family likes it. Very handy resource to have.

This is a pumpkin lover's dream come true. Though I haven't had the chance to try any yet, I am definitely going to. They are not complicated, too fancy types but easy to make, and after 50 years of baking and cooking myself, I can tell they are delicious!

Besides recipes in this book, there is a little bit of history of the pumpkin, which I found very interesting. I enjoyed reading about how early pumpkin pies were made.

I'd not really hitherto tried pumpkin but, on the recommendation of a friend and based on the fact that they were being favorably priced in our local supermarket, I thought, what the heck, give it a go.

The trouble was, beyond a few suggestions, I had no idea what to do with them. This book has, I think, covered all bases about as thoroughly as it's possible to go. The recipes are largely straightforward, the ingredients 'available' and the end result very satisfying.

The alternatives between fresh and canned pumpkin were also helpful.

I could have done with some more photos but, in fairness, they can be a pain when you're cooking direct from what's on your tablet. You don't want to be clicking backwards and forwards with sticky fingers.

I shall, henceforth, see pumpkins in an entirely different light.

The recipes in this cookbook are amazing. I've made three desserts and they are spectacular. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who loves pumpkin and loves to cook.
