Bought this after my husband had a heart-attack at 41 years old. He was determined to eat better with a low fat, low sodium diet so I went searching for cookbooks with recipes I would actually make...no weird ingredients or long preparation. I like this one very much as well as the other one by Plume.

I selected this book because of recent dietary restrictions and it was one that listed every one of them plus and extra. It is not as difficult to make delicious food even with these restrictions, as I thought it would be. If nothing else, reading through the cookbook gave me ideas to modify recipes I had or make up my own. I'm not sure how many of the recipes in this book I will actually use, because I am not really into gourmet cooking, but it gives me options.

I would have liked to have viewed some sample recipes before ordering so I could tell if it was something I would actually use or not.
