Pooh has step up his bars but....,
This review is from: Delightful Bars (Audio CD)
Pooh has step up his bars but the new album isn't what i expected. I have been a fan of Little Brother since the listening and respect the real hip hop they bring. But this album just doesn't have the feeling "Sleepers" did. The album starts off strong, gets very weak in the middle, and picks back up in the end. Im also disappointed with the production. 9th and illmind represents however some of the other producers didnt measure up to 9th and ill. I would recommend you get this ONLY if you are a true Big Pooh fan, if you are just getting into the brother....buy "Sleepers" first then cop this one. Hope it helps

A great album from Big Pooh,

I feel this is a great second album from Rapper Big Pooh. It is alot different than his last album "Sleepers". I think some people may dislike this album because of that. It's not as smooth and laid back as "Sleepers" was. The beats hit harder and have more of a southern feeling to it, but in this case that's a good thing because the beats are still unique and creative. This album sounds like Rapper Big Pooh is trying to find his own sound and not the 9th wonder sound, that we all come to love from albums like "The Listening" and "The Minstrel Show". But I feel some fans need to open their eyes and see that just because this album doesn't have that 9th wonder feeling doesn't mean that the music here isn't good. I enjoyed this album just as much as "Sleepers" (maybe even more), some of my favorite tracks are "It's a Go", "C.O.D", "Nothing less", and "Roll Call". It may take a little time to get use to the different sound from what people come te expect from the Little Brother camp, but if you give it a chance you'll see this is a very good album.

Dope beats Dope rhymes.... what more you want...
I thought the album was dope. Better than Sleepers. Production and Rhymes. Pooh did his thing. Thumps in the whip.

Lyrics good. Not very good production wise,
This review is from: Delightful Bars (Audio CD)
I am a little brother fan and Pooh is lyrically tight on this. But no 9th wonder, resulting in some weird sounding production I could not stand. It was very irritating production and I would return this album. If you like Rapper Big Pooh and Little Brother Buy Sleepers instead.
