This story is full of great description and characterization, including capturing Standing Alone's need to find her children, the many faces of a fat man called Childress, and the pits of despair the human soul sinks to when it is enslaved. The Deliverance was a well written read and quite enjoyable.

Richard Wheeler again gives us a delightful western in the Barnaby Skye Novels! I enjoyed this book just as much as the others in this series. Mr Wheeler simply cannot crank these stories out fast enough for me!
