An Essential Resource for all Educators of Adults,
By Marni Dorman (Cary, North Carolina) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Delivering Instruction to Adult Learners (Paperback)
As an instructor of adults myself, I was first introduced to this book in an Instructional Methods course I was taking in my doctoral program in Adult Education. I was pleasantly suprised to find that not only did it not read like a traditional textbook, but that it was very enjoyable and easy to read. Cantor presents the information in a very clear, concise manner, giving many helpful and useful suggestions on how to work with and instruct adults in a variety of settings. There is an especially useful chapter that discusses the various methods that are appropriate for working with adults that all adult educators should have. This is definitely my favorite book of all the ones I have collected over my years of study, and I highly recommend it to all those who work adults.
