I bought this sensor scope after paying $50 to have my sensor professionally cleaned. I do a great deal of outdoor photography and no matter how careful I am the sensor gets dust on it. I decided I couldn't keep paying to get the sensor cleaned. I figured out how to clean the sensor, but I had to keep removing the lens, cleaning the sensor, replacing the lens, taking a photo. After I took a photo I would exam the photo on the computer to see if I removed all the spots. Now with the scope I can easily see spots on the sensor without having to go through all those steps. The bright lights and magnification give you a really good view inside the camera. Glad I found this great tool I know I will be using the sensor scope often!

My vision is poor enough but trying to focus on the sensor of my digital camera was frustrating to me. Either the center appeared sharp or the edges appeared sharp. I was never really sure if I could accurately see dust inside the cameras light box. I can see that others could probably use this device with much more success than I could as long as their vision was better than mine. I only gave it two stars because I could see photographers with better vision utilizing this sensor scope much better than I could.

Received my Delkin Devices DDSS-Single2 SensorScope today, and it was exactly what I needed to help clean my sensor. This was the first time I'd cleaned the sensor and the scope really let me see where the dust was. I had to do a wet cleaning, took a couple of tries to get it right. This is an excellent scope for the price, a tad bit plasticy but a lot less expensive than the slightly higher end ones, and the 5x zoom is more than enough to see the dust.
